eggs in a carton in the fridge

Hi Marg,

That’s a great question, and it’s one we get pretty often.

We recommend that you consume your eggs before the Best Before date indicated on the egg carton. This date is about 35 days after the eggs are graded.

Eggs can be eaten 1 to 2 weeks after that date, however, they should be used in a thoroughly cooked dish, such as baked or hard-cooked.

Have an eggs-cellent day!
